Looking for Apartments and Seattle is your Dream Place? Equity Residential Buys Belltown Apartments for $49M

As a follow up to my article on apartments and Seattle I found this and wanted to link to it.

The country’s largest apartment landlord has just the place for you if you are looking for apartments and Seattle is the place for you.

Sam Zell’s Equity Residential just bought Belltown apartments for $49.5 according to the folks at https://seattletimes.nwsource.com/html/businesstechnology/2015387166_moda22.html.

Seattle’s Belltown apartments opened in 2008 shortly before the housing crisis hit.

This is the second purchase this year for Equity Residential. The first was in March. Equity owns about 30 apartment complexes in Seattle.
